Speed limit fixation denied

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 18: General Traffic Department of Ministry of Interior has denied information concerning change in the programming of the traffic cameras installed on all roads of the country.

The department issued this denial after information was being spread on social media about standardizing the speed limits in all traffic cameras.

For instance, if the speed limit of a road is 120km/hr and a car is driven on that road at a speed of 125 km/hr, the information on social media claimed that a traffic citation will be issued. However, this was denied by Ministry of Interior.
