Slander against truth, history

The former parliamentarian and Al-Qabas columnist, Mr. Muhammad Al-Dalal is described by some as the wise man of the Brotherhood.

In his last article, he touched on the memory of the Iraqi invasion and occupation and listed a number of main reasons that contributed to the liberation of Kuwait, including its democratic system which prompted the countries of the world to support its liberation.

Then he goes back and contradicts himself in the next paragraph and says that one of the reasons for the invasion is the weakness of Kuwait’s internal front, the disruption of constitutional and parliamentary life and the absence of democracy.

Then he mentioned the invasion revealed the great imbalance of people of ideas and currents among the Arabs, and the masks from the faces of the nationalists, Islamist, Ba’athist and secularists that supported the occupation, facilitated bloodshed, violated honor and theft of public and private property dropped. He added that this reflects the fragility of the positions of these currents in times of crises and adversity.

This is a beautiful and something nice to thank for, but he went back and added that history has also preserved the position of the Kuwaiti currents and people who belong to the same currents in rejecting the practices and positions of their currents in the Arab countries (the Muslim Brotherhood), and how they remained patriotic among the forces of resistance and rejection of occupation and civil disobedience. I say here this was not confirmed by any party and they did not play a significant role.

Then, Mr. Al-Dalal touched on the ideological and organizational reviews which the Brotherhood had done, and this is true, but this only happened after the liberation. After the situation calmed down, they retracted their previous reviews and as usual took back their words, and the evidence is tens or even hundreds of articles and positions that they wrote and stood by, the last of which is their complete and unequivocal rejection of what Ghannouchi, their man in Tunisia, was subjected to and their standing with him and attacking his enemies who had never hidden his admiration for Saddam and his disgraceful standing with him in our great cause during his occupation of our homeland.

As for saying that the loyalty of Kuwaitis, regardless of their affiliations, was to their homeland, it is a slander against truth and history. No one from the Muslim Brotherhood has stood, in complete clarity, inside and outside Kuwait, with his country in its ordeal, and the evidence is that their oath of loyalty and obedience was to their supreme guide, and the latter’s position was against the intervention of Western and infidel forces to liberate Kuwait.

If this is the logic of your wise, what about ‘your’ crazy?
