LOS ANGELES, March 5, (Agencies): Sinbad is basking in the warmth of love! Making his inaugural Instagram post since 2022, the 67-year-old comedian took a moment to reflect on the overwhelmingly positive reception he received during his recent public appearance. This marked his return to the spotlight following a stroke in 2020.

On February 29, Sinbad, along with fellow members of the A Different World cast, convened via Zoom for the kickoff of a 10-city tour at historically Black colleges and universities, starting at the Atlanta University Center in Atlanta.

Expressing gratitude, Sinbad captioned an Instagram Reel published on Monday, "Thank you for your prayers, support, and positive thoughts. They’ve carried me this far and will see me through to the finish line. It really is a different world out here!"

The accompanying video showed the legendary comedian, born David Adkins, seated in a chair, engrossed in a recording of the event. "Man, that was so cool," he remarked, gazing up at the camera amid applause from the audience. The clip featured an auditorium filled with students watching him on a large screen, a moment he described as "beautiful."

Expressing his surprise at the college crowd recognizing him, Sinbad conveyed his appreciation. He played Coach Walter Oakes on the NBC sitcom, a six-season run from September 24, 1987, to July 9, 1993. The show, a spin-off of The Cosby Show, focused on Denise Huxtable (Lisa Bonet) and student life at Hillman College, a fictional HBCU in Virginia.

Beyond the outpouring of support from students, Sinbad's Instagram section was flooded with well-wishes from his fellow entertainers.
