KUWAIT CITY, July 24: In line with directives from His Excellency, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahd Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, the Ministry of Interior has intensified nationwide security and traffic campaigns aimed at apprehending wanted individuals, lawbreakers, and violators of traffic and residency regulations.
On the morning of Thursday, July 24, 2025, the Traffic and Operations Sector—represented by the General Traffic Department and the General Department of Rescue Police—launched a large-scale traffic enforcement operation across main highways and in the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area.
The campaign resulted in the following actions:
- 800 traffic citations for various violations issued
- 11 Arrested for violating residency and labor laws
- 6 Arrested without valid identification
- 15 individuals wanted for various offenses
- 3 vehicles wanted by judicial authorities
- 10 wanted by law crimes committed
- 3 juveniles arrested for driving without a license
- 1 Person found intoxicated state
- 1 Person arrested with narcotics
The Ministry of Interior reaffirmed its commitment to continuing these security and traffic operations across Kuwait to uphold law and order. The public is urged to cooperate with security forces and report any suspicious activity or violations to help preserve the safety and security of the nation.
