First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah receives the fourth edition of the book ‘Legal Regulation of Traffic in the State of Kuwait.’

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 23, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah on Wednesday received the fourth edition of the book “Legal Regulation of Traffic in the State of Kuwait”, an updated legal reference that includes the Traffic Law No. (67) of 1976, its executive regulations, and complementary ministerial decisions revised in accordance with the latest amendments for 2025.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Interior, the book — published in both Arabic and English — was presented to Sheikh Fahad Al-Sabah by Brigadier General Khaled Al-Adwani, Assistant Director General for Education and Coordination Affairs at the General Traffic Department. The gesture came in recognition of the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior’s continued support for the development of Kuwait’s traffic system and his efforts to strengthen the legal and regulatory frameworks governing it.

The statement noted that the latest edition, prepared by retired Major General Salem Al-Ajmi and Brigadier General Khaled Al-Adwani, aims to document and update the officially approved legal reference for the Traffic Law and its related decisions. The initiative is intended to unify legal concepts among ministry personnel and enhance both field and administrative performance within the traffic sector.

Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef expressed his thanks and appreciation to the officials responsible for preparing this distinguished edition, commending their efforts in developing the comprehensive legal reference. He emphasized that such initiatives reflect the Traffic and Operations Sector’s commitment to advancing traffic management in line with the latest legislation — promoting traffic safety and the protection of lives and property.
