KUWAIT CITY, Nov 10: First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, highlighted the Ministry of Interior’s commitment to promoting and developing sports activities, which boost the physical fitness and morale of its personnel. The statement came during a ceremony recognizing the top winners of the 2024–2025 Ministries, Authorities, and Government Institutions Sports Tournament.

Sheikh Fahad emphasized that the event reflects the ministry’s dedication to supporting sports and celebrating achievements, noting the pride in securing leading positions across government competitions.

The ceremony was held under the patronage and presence of Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, alongside the Chairman of the Police Sports Federation, Brigadier General Sheikh Mubarak Al-Sabah.

Honors were presented to teams achieving first-place finishes in both individual and team events, while coaches and administrators were also recognized for their efforts in achieving these results.

The Ministry of Interior, through the Police Sports Federation, reaffirmed its commitment to institutional sports, focusing on developing the physical skills and teamwork of its personnel, recognizing the role of sports in enhancing readiness, discipline, and unity, all of which contribute positively to field operations.
