Sharjah Chamber unveils shopping bliss: discounts, sweepstakes and more!

SHARJAH, UAE, Dec 16: The commencement of Sharjah Shopping Promotions took place on Friday, featuring a combination of discounts and entertainment. Arranged by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), this shopping extravaganza will span 37 days until January 20, 2024, offering not only attractive shopping opportunities but also a diverse array of activities such as events and contests suitable for the entire family.

Numerous shops have enlisted with the Sharjah Chamber to join the initiative by launching promotions encompassing a wide range of products and international brands. The inaugural day showcased discounts, sweepstakes, and heritage and folklore activities in conjunction with the opening event, which unfolded simultaneously at City Centre Al Zahia and Sahara Centre.

Highlighting the significance of Sharjah Shopping Promotions, Mohammed Ahmed Amin Al Awadi, Director-General of the SCCI, emphasized its status as a leading economic and commercial event in the emirate.

Abdulaziz Mohammed Shattaf, Assistant Director-General of the Communication and Business Sector at the Chamber, expressed, “Efforts to organize Sharjah Shopping Promotions 2023 have concentrated on incorporating elements into the event program that not only attract visitors but also entice more shoppers from both within and outside Sharjah. This entails expanding the pool of participating shops and brands offering promotional deals, diversifying entertainment and artistic programs, and extending their scope to showcase Sharjah’s most prominent tourist attractions.”
