Security campaign in Bnied Al-Gar, 96 arrested

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 14: The Ministry of Interior stated that it launched security campaign to maintain security and enforce law and order in the country. A campaign was carried out in Bnied Al-Gar area which resulted in arresting 96 expats, 37 of them had expired residence, 3 were having absconding cases and 55 violated residence law. Besides these a person was arrested for not carrying civil ID or digital ID. They were handed over to the competent authorities to take necessary legal measures against them.

The Ministry of Interior stated that the security campaign will continue to arrest residence law violators and those who are wanted by the law. MOI has appealed to Kuwaiti citizens and expats to cooperate with security men by reporting or providing information about any such persons.
