Saudi Arabia announces new 48 coronavirus cases – 10,000 placed in quarantine

13 New cases in UAE and 4 new cases in Oman

RIYADH, March 21 (KUNA) — Saudi Arabia Ministry of Health said 48 people tested positive for the coronavirus while eight persons recovered.
Ministry spokesman Dr. Mohammad Al-Abdulaali told a daily press briefing the new infections raised tally of patients to 392, while number of recoveries stood at 16.

He said Saudi Arabia was providing all health services to confront spread of the virus.

He said the gatherings, even inside houses, “were highly critical.”
Al-Abdulaali said 22,000 coronavirus tests have been conducted and their results were negative.
He said 10,000 persons were placed in quarantine

OMAN

The Sultanate of Oman announced Saturday that the coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in the country had increased by four patients, bringing the total to 52.
According to the Oman News Agency (ONA), the discovered cases were of four Omani nationals who recently returned from abroad.
Some 13 cases recovered from the virus so far in Oman.

UAE
13 new cases of COVID-19 were reported on Saturday (March 21, 2020) in the UAE, bringing to the total number of cases to 153, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM).

Seven (7) new cases have also recovered from the virus, bringing the total number of recovered cases in the country to 38 as of Saturday.
