ISTANBUL, Aug 20: Salwa Al-Sabah’s women’s handball team is preparing for the 2025-2026 season and the upcoming Asian Women’s Club Championship in Uzbekistan with a training camp in Istanbul, Turkey, running from August 14 to 29.
The delegation is led by Vice President Naila Al-Ali and includes administrator Amina Arab, Bahraini coach Mohammed Abdulnabi, and players Aisha Al-Saad, Noor Al-Enezi, Sarah Al-Enezi, Farah Al-Khabbaz, Rital Al-Farhan, Batool Al-Mutrouk, Zainab Al-Mutrouk, Maryam Dashti, Dana Maki, Tasneem Yassin, Dareen Al-Moussawi, and Shoug Al-Enezi.
Coach Abdulnabi praised the players’ commitment during the camp. “The camp is going according to plan. We have already played two friendly matches against Istanbul Masoudiyeh and will participate in three more practice games during the camp,” he said.
He also thanked the Salwa Al-Sabah Club Board of Directors, led by Club President Sheikha Naeema Al-Ahmad, for organizing the camp and removing obstacles to ensure the team is well-prepared for the new season.
