KUWAIT CITY, Feb 21: Salmiya SC and Fahaheel SC managed to reach semi-finals of 29th HH Crown Prince Football Championship after defeating Al Nasr SC and Khaitan SC respectively. In the first match played at Mohamed Al Hamad Stadium Salmiya SC were able to snatch victory by two goals scored in the 47th minute by Alex Lima and Patrick Fabiano in the 83rd minute through a perfect header. For Al Nasr Mohamed Daham scored a solitary goal in the 30th minute.
In the second match at Abdullah Al-Khalifa Al-Sabah stadium Fahaheel SC reached semi-finals after defeating Khaitan SC which ended in a goalless draw in extra time. Penalty kicks resulted in 6-5 in favour of Fahaheel SC.
