RIYADH, Oct 26: Al-Nassr players celebrated a 2-0 victory over Al-Hazem, marking their sixth consecutive win in the Saudi Pro League, thanks to strong teamwork and determination.
The match, held at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Buraidah, saw Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo lead the team to victory, capping the sixth round of the Saudi Pro League.
With this win, Al-Nassr extended its lead at the top of the table to 18 points, maintaining a perfect record under coach Jorge Jesus, who continues to restore the team’s domestic and continental dominance.
Al-Nassr now leads by three points over second-place Al-Taawoun, while Al-Hazem remains in 14th place with just five points, struggling near the relegation zone.
Cristiano Ronaldo expressed his excitement over reaching a new milestone, scoring his 950th career goal across all competitions.
Ronaldo shared a celebration photo on X (formerly Twitter), saying: “Happy to help the team win and reach 950 goals — always hungry for more.”
The goal also marked Ronaldo’s 80th for Al-Nassr, bringing him just one goal shy of Al-Hilal captain Salem Al-Dawsari (81) on the list of all-time top scorers in the Saudi Pro League.
