KUWAIT CITY, July 23:  From March 1, 2023, to May 31, 2023, the Traffic Department has been on high alert, cracking down on reckless driving and traffic law violations. A total of 30 individuals for their dangerous behavior on the roads faced severe consequences.

The General Department of Relations and Security Media, operating under the Ministry of Interior, emphasized the significance of these efforts to apprehend traffic violators. Offenders were promptly referred to the Traffic Court for legal action.

The Traffic Court issued sentences of imprisonment and various penalties, including fines and one-month driver's license suspension, as stipulated in the Penal Code. These actions were taken against individuals caught driving recklessly and negligently, posing a significant threat to the lives of others.

The administration vows to continue its relentless security and traffic campaigns across the country. The objective is clear: to apprehend traffic law violators and deter anyone from disregarding the established rules and regulations.

In light of this, the Traffic Department urges all drivers to abide by traffic laws and regulations. Moreover, they call upon the public to cooperate with security personnel and report any negative incidents promptly. To ensure the safety of all road users, incidents can be reported via the emergency phone line (112) or WhatsApp Traffic (99324092). Let's work together to create safer roads for everyone.
