KUWAIT CITY, May 25: Minister of Public Works Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan confirmed the ongoing radical maintenance work on the Fourth Ring Road as part of a comprehensive plan that includes several new contracts for the maintenance of highways and main roads.

In a press statement on Sunday, Al-Mashaan said the work is among 18 major projects involving the comprehensive maintenance of roads across various regions in the country, covering all six governorates. The aim is to improve the quality of road infrastructure and enhance safety and security standards, aligning with the best international specifications.

She emphasized that both radical and periodic maintenance operations play a direct role in preserving the sustainability of roads by extending their lifespan and reducing the need for future reconstruction. This approach positively impacts the quality of services provided to citizens and residents while achieving long-term cost savings.
