KUWAIT CITY, July 11: The General Traffic Department has announced the temporary closure of the exit from Al-Mughira bin Shu'ba Street in the Salmiya area, leading to Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Road (Fifth Ring Road) in the direction of Jahra.
The closure, which is due to ongoing maintenance work, began on Thursday, July 10, 2025, and will remain in effect until the early morning hours of Monday, July 14, 2025.
Motorists are advised to use the following alternative routes:
- Bida Roundabout towards the Fifth Ring Road (Jahra-bound)
- Qatar Street exit to the Fifth Ring Road
- Thaqif Street exit
- Issa Al-Qatami Street exit
The department thanks all drivers for their cooperation and urges the public to follow traffic instructions and use the designated detours to ensure safety and maintain smooth traffic flow.
