KUWAIT CITY, Dec 26: Members of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Oil Company Workers Union collectively resigned in protest after the General Assembly meeting was held yesterday evening without a quorum.

Sources revealed to Al-Seyassah that despite the absence of a quorum, the meeting proceeded, and representatives of the Public Authority for Manpower, despite being informed, were not present to supervise the extraordinary general assembly.

The meeting aimed to secure approval from the general assembly members for the new proposals in the union’s bylaws system.
