‘Residential plots’ go under hammer

KUWAIT CITY, March 21: Al-Enmaa Real Estate Company conducted a real estate auction at the Four Seasons Hotel on Tuesday, featuring 11 residential plots of land situated in the Yarmouk, Al-Zahraa, and Hittin areas. However, only 4 plots, all located in the Yarmouk area, were successfully sold at their starting price of 3.96 million dinars, with no significant increase, reports Al- Rai daily. Among the sold plots was one measuring 1,013 square meters, with dual street frontage (Batin, Dhar, and Sikka), fetching a price of 1.09 million dinars.

Additionally, three plots, each measuring 920 square meters, were sold for 957 thousand dinars each. The remaining residential plots, with various areas, remained unsold, totaling an initial value of 5.18 million dinars. The auction was conducted in compliance with Penal Ruling No. 1499 of 2008, which governs the management of public funds, and was overseen by the Public Prosecution.
