KUWAIT CITY, Oct 7: The General Department for Criminal Investigations has requested the two ministries — Health and Education — to compel hospitals and schools to reports cases of violence against children both sexual and physical, negligence and assault cases by fellow students, reports Al-Rai daily.

This comes following the application of the Child Protection Law which came into force two months ago according to which offenders of children will be punished.

The security sources said the Juvenile Care Department has requested various sectors in the two ministries of Health and Education to attach medical reports where violence against children is reported to help the investigators and summon for interrogation both parties to prepare court cases or refer the issue to the Public Prosecution.
