Refusal to enroll kids in school prompts a Bedoun father to commit suicide – Security sources deny it happened

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 14:Acting on information securitymen rushed to the Ministry of Education building and convinced an unidentified bedoun not to end his life, reports Al-Rai daily. According to the sources the man threatened to end his life by jumping from the first floor because his children were not enrolled in schools. It is worth mentioning that a number of bedouns whose security cards have expired have appealed to the Minister of Education and the Minister of Higher Education Dr Hamed Al-Azmi through Al-Rai daily to accept their children in schools to help them complete their education.

Media report denied: A security source has denied what was published by a local daily that a bedoun father tried to commit suicide by jumping from the first floor of the Ministry of Education Building in South Surrah because one of the schools had refused to enroll his children, reports Al-Rai daily.
