KUWAIT CITY, Oct 23: First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled and Undersecretary of the Interior Ministry Lieutenant General Anwar Al- Barjas have given the green light to criminal investigation officers in the Morality Investigation Department to intensify security campaigns in daily rental apartments suspected as venues for illegal activities, reports Al-Rai daily quoting sources.

Sources said the moral investigation officers formed security teams that were assigned in various governorates where they work round the clock to monitor activities in daily rental apartments in order to uncover violations and take action against all those involved in unscrupulous acts. Sources revealed the officers have been instructed to refer expatriates proven to be involved in illegal activities to the concerned authorities to take the necessary legal measures including deportation.
