Raid on liquor factory in Wafra

Large tank filled with liquor along with distilling units confiscated

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 20: Ahmadi security men led by Major General Saleh Matar raided one of the largest liquor factory in Wafra area where they found a large tank filled with alcohol, along with 3 distilling units and bottles packed and were ready for sale.

According to a security source, information received by Ahmadi security about miss use of an apartment in a residential area which was used for manufacturing alcohol. Accordingly investigations were conducted and permission to raid the apartment was obtained.
