THROUGHOUT history, good news used to come from Egypt — the strategic core of the Arab world. If yesterday’s Tartars violated Baghdad and Levant, and attempted to violate Egypt in order to occupy the entire region, the same scene is recurring today with the new Tartars whose speeches and practices are not different from those of their grandfathers.

As the Arabs in the 13th century found defenders and the Egyptian Army under the leadership of King Saif ad-Din Qutuz who crushed and repelled aggressors; this nation also found an army that listens to its people and protects them against conspiracies led by the Muslim Brotherhood and other organizations of their kind. These organizations are like al-Qaeda, DAESH, Hezbollah and Popular Mobilization Forces, as well as all the gangs that came from the womb of the mother of terrorism — the regime in Iran which continues to live in the darkness cave of the Middle Ages.

These cancerous terrorist tumors which have started devouring the body of the nation would have been difficult to stop and combat if it were not for the strong Egypt which is able to perform its natural role as the head of the entire troops in combat.

Throughout history, Cairo determined the political wave in the Arab world. This was actually translated into the present, through the victory achieved by Qutuz in 1260 during the battle of Ain Jaloot against Hulagu. It was where the Mogul occupation ended for the Arab countries.

It is almost similar but clearer than what had happened on June 30, 2013 when Egypt reclaimed the entire nation from the hands of more dangerous members of the Muslim Brotherhood. Now, Egypt is enjoying peace and tranquility. It also restored hope for millions of Arabs that they will be saved from the savagery of extremism which is devouring Libya, Iraq, Syria and Yemen.

If it were not for the uprising of the Egyptians backed by the army, the frivolity of the new Tartars would have been more horrific and disturbing than what happened in the 13th century, in addition to more than 10 times of the losses incurred at the time. Nevertheless, the Arabs from every corner of the world are stumbling in the darkness of terrorism, massacre and crises.

If Egypt did not stand firm in the face of pressure from the US, Israel and the Western countries; it would have continued to play the tune of election that erroneously brought Morsi to power. Today, you would have seen the government being the government of Brotherhood or DAESH which makes no difference. The region would have seen leaders of darkness and evil spreading in every Arab town and village.

Undoubtedly, this Egyptian steadfastness is needed on a strong platform which does neither get frightened by intimidating campaigns nor threatened by warning messages from the modern Hulagu and his followers in the Arab world. This platform consists of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member-countries. They did not delay even a second in protecting and defending Egypt, through which the GCC was also protecting itself from the modern-day Tartars.

If the 13th century Qutuz chopped off the heads of Hulagu’s four messengers and hanged them on one of the gates in Cairo; the Qutuz of the 21st century, Abdul Fattah El-Sisi, closed all doors on the face of the messengers of the grandchildren of the new Hulagu with the support of the huge populace which announced its rejection of the Brotherhood’s ‘kidnapping’ of Egypt.

Today in the month of Ramadan and within a few days, the 756th anniversary of the victory in the Battle of Ain Jalut, Arabs are reading history and seeing a scene which is similar to what happened in Cairo that wrote a new chapter on how to eliminate the multi-faceted terrorism.

It is as if redrawing the victory of the old army in the 13th century over Mongols and victory of the crossing heroes on the 10th day of Ramadan in 1973 over Israel through the liberation of Sinai in a more intense fight against the current Tartars who are attempting to make Sinai a bridge through which Egypt will fall.

With strong faith, the best soldiers on this part of the Earth will soon liberate Sinai from the terrorists.
