Qurain sweeps top spots at Kuwait Squash Championship

KUWAIT CITY, May 7: Qadsia's Athbi Al-Jumaan was crowned champion after the seventh Kuwait Squash Championship, held at the Sheikh Salem Al-Sabah Center at the Federation's headquarters in South Surra.

Khaled Al-Fawzan from Qurain secured second place, while Saif Heikal, also from Qurain, finished third.

Squash Federation President Walid Al-Sumaie, along with Vice President Khaled Al-Habib, and members Adel Al-Gharib, Ahmed Al-Adwani, and Hamad Al-Daghim, were present to award the winners.

In the overall standings, Qurain topped both the general and junior categories, with Khaitan finishing second in the public and third in the junior categories. Yarmouk Club claimed third place in the public category, while Al-Arabi Club secured second place in the junior category.

In the under-19 category, Khaled Al-Fawzan from Qurain took first place, while Abdullah Hani from Qurain won the under-17 title. In the under-15 category, Issa Al-Najadah from Al-Arabi triumphed.

Salman Al-Saleh from Qurain emerged victorious in the under-13 category, and Fahad Joul from Qurain claimed first place in the under-11 category.

In the women’s category, Basmala Al-Shami from Al-Arabi clinched first place, Aisha Al-Madhen from Qurain finished second, and Sara Al-Ali from Salwa Club took third place.
