DOHA, June 23: The State of Qatar has announced a temporary suspension of all air traffic within its airspace as a precautionary measure to safeguard the safety of its citizens, residents, and visitors. The decision was made by the competent Qatari authorities in response to ongoing developments in the region.
In a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, officials emphasized that the move is part of a broader set of preventive steps aimed at preserving public safety. The ministry assured that relevant authorities are closely monitoring the situation in coordination with regional and international partners.
The Ministry reiterated that the security and well-being of all individuals in Qatar remain a top priority and affirmed that further updates will be communicated through official channels as the situation evolves.
