DOHA, March 1: Qatar on Sunday reported two additional cases of coronavirus, upping the number of infections in the Gulf country to three, said the health ministry.
The two coronavirus patients have been placed in quarantine and are in stable condition, according to a ministry statement, adding that the disease is unlikely to spread further given that the infected persons have had no contact with others.
Qatar has imposed strict prevention measures to clamp down on the virus, including screening passengers traveling to and from Doha, it highlighted.
