Qadisiya to begin Turkish camp friendlies with Al-Okhdood

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 2: Qadisiya will kick off a series of three friendly matches during its pre-season training camp in Izmit, Turkey, which runs until August 29. The first match is scheduled for this Saturday against Saudi side Al-Okhdood, followed by a clash with Saudi club Al-Faisaly on August 12, and a final encounter against UAE’s Al-Emarat on August 19.

The training camp officially began two days ago as part of Qadisiya’s preparations for the 2025–2026 season. The team is gearing up for its Zain Premier League opener against Al-Nasr, set for September 12.

Head coach Nabil Maâloul has called up a 31-player squad for the camp, even though only 25 players are permitted for league registration. The roster includes:

Ahmed Al-Yahya, Muath Al-Dhafiri, Rashid Al-Dosari, Faisal Al-Shatti, Khaled Sabah, Abdullah Matawa, Mubarak Al-Fanini, Eid Al-Rashidi, Talal Fadel, Abdulaziz Wadi, Abdullah Al-Awadhi, Bader Al-Mutawa, Athbi Shehab, Ali Jarrah, Abdulaziz Abdeen, Rakan Al-Saeed, Mohammed Al-Shuraifi, Hameed Al-Qallaf, Khaled Ibrahim, Abdulrahman Al-Dhafiri, Moroccan Ismail Khafi, Libyan Mohamed Soula, Moroccan Mehdi Barrahma, Algerian Sofiane Bouchar, Mohammed Al-Omran, Jassem Al-Matar, Ahmed Boudi, Salem Al-Rais, Fadel Al-Sarraf, Turki Al-Yousef, and Saud Al-Qassem.
