KUWAIT CITY, Feb 4: After a series of meetings and correspondences since last summer, the issue of “how to manage public bathrooms” within the capital governorate came to nothing after the Municipality affirmed that Public Utilities Management Company will not be able to take courses from the Municipality for that purpose, reports Al-Qabas daily.

The Municipality affirmed the reason for refusing to provide courses for the Public Utilities Management Company is lack of economic feasibility of such utilities, which the company in question responded through the daily quoting an official source from the company who explained that they’ve never declined to receive or operate the public health facilities project (public toilets) in the Capital Governorate.

The source indicated that Capital Municipal Council Committee commissioned the utility company to study the cost of running the toilets in the governorate, provided that the study will be presented to the committee for guidance purposes only when it is completed.
