KUWAIT CITY, July 26: The Public Prosecution continues the interrogation of the president of Al-Jahra Sports Club, the former secretary, an investor, and five other defendants who were detained last Thursday pending investigation into the alleged forgery of official documents and harming public funds.

The detention decision was issued after extensive investigations initiated by the prosecution, based on the report submitted by the incumbent Board of Directors of the club that accused the previous administration of committing serious financial and administrative violations, such as forgery of official documents and harming public funds.

Al-Jahra Club is experiencing a period of instability, as the Public Authority for Sports decided to suspend financial and banking appropriations for the current Board of Directors due to disputes between the current and previous boards.
