Badr Al-Mutawa training with his teammates.

MANAMA, Jan 15: Al-Qadisiya has confirmed the dates for its upcoming two friendly matches as part of its ongoing training camp in Bahrain. The team is scheduled to face Al-Ahly of Bahrain tomorrow, followed by a match against Al-Khalidiya next Saturday.

The "Yellow" squad initiated their training sessions in the Bahraini capital, Manama, last week as they gear up for a significant encounter against Yarmouk on January 27 in the preliminary round of the Amir Cup competition.

Despite not joining the Al-Qadisiya delegation in Bahrain due to work commitments, star player and team captain Badr Al-Mutawa has taken the initiative to engage in regular daily training with the Al-Qadisiya youth team. This effort aims to maintain his readiness and enhance his physical fitness levels in preparation for the remaining competitions of the current season.

At 39 years old, Al-Mutawa, one of the iconic figures in Kuwaiti football history, plans to rejoin "Al-Asfar" upon his return to Kuwait. His presence during the youth team's training has infused a sense of joy, with many players and members of the coaching staff taking memorable photos with the seasoned player.

Al-Mutawa demonstrated a commitment to training intensively, setting a positive example for the emerging players on the field. This not only contributes to the team's overall performance but also ensures his personal preparation is at its best, anticipating the return of the "Yellow" squad from their training camp in Bahrain.
