Police nab Kuwaiti on run with 15 years imprisonment for thefts

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 30: A Kuwaiti citizen, who was wanted by law after being sentenced to 15 years in prison in connection with a number of vehicle theft cases, was arrested by Jahra police officers. They also arrested six other individuals who were sentenced to imprisonment. The seven individuals were referred to the concerned authorities. According to a security source, the detectives, after discovering the whereabouts of the car theft suspect, managed to set a trap into which the suspect fell. Upon further inquiry, it was discovered that he was wanted by the law to serve a 15-year jail sentence for stealing cars. The officers also managed to arrest a Bedoun resident who wanted to serve a jail term of six years for similar crimes. Both were referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal measures.
