LOS ANGELES, Oct 17, (Agencies): Pink has been confronted with "family medical matters." On Monday, the 44-year-old vocalist took to Instagram to declare the cancellation of two shows on her Summer Carnival Tour, citing a family health issue.

In her message, she wrote, "Tacoma shows postponed: I am so sorry to inform the Tacoma ticket holders that the two shows scheduled for October 17 and October 18 (tomorrow and Wednesday) will be postponed," referring to the planned concerts at Washington's Tacoma Dome. She added, "Live Nation is diligently working to secure future dates for rescheduling."

Pink explained, "Family medical concerns necessitate our immediate attention," and conveyed her heartfelt apologies for any inconvenience caused. She concluded her message by sending love and well-wishes to all.

The singer did not specify which family member is facing the medical issue. Pink has been married to Carey Hart since 2006, and they are parents to two children, Willow, 12, and Jameson, 6.

Pink's Summer Carnival Tour kicked off in June with a memorable moment when she welcomed her daughter to the stage to perform "Cover Me in Sunshine."
