An Egyptian citizen driving a luxury Kuwait-registered car caused a traffic accident that left 6 vehicles damaged and several pedestrians injured on Cairo’s October Bridge. Authorities confirmed that the driver was not Kuwaiti or from the Gulf, as initially speculated. The driver was attempting to flee the scene, but the security forces intervened, breaking the car’s glass to pull out the driver before causing further damage. Legal action has been taken against him by the Egyptian authorities.
