I want information on the passport validity for dependent visas for both the sponsor and the dependent. How much validity is required on both the passports. My wife’s passport validity will be less than two years from Nov 10 onward. I still have more than 3 years for mine. The only time you have a problem is when you come to Kuwait for the first time. At that time you need to have your passports valid for at least two years. In case your wife’s passport is valid for less than two years, then when you go to renew her residence it will be done only for one year.More important is the validity of your own passport because the length of the residence will depend on its validity.
