KUWAIT CITY, July 11: The Court of Appeals upheld the ruling of a lower court that sentenced a Kuwaiti female citizen employed at the Residency Affairs Department in the Ministry of Interior to four years in prison for involvement in bribery, reports Al-Qabas daily.
Case files indicate that the employee asked a Pakistani to pay KD500 for the completion of an entry visa transaction. The accused was referred to the Public Prosecution.
