KUWAIT CITY, June 28: The General Traffic Department has announced the partial closure of Passports Roundabout on Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Road (Fifth Ring Road), specifically affecting traffic heading towards the Salmiya area.

The closure will impact vehicles coming from Bida'a Roundabout towards Jahra. Additionally, all entrances and exits to the Salmiya area via Passports Roundabout will be closed, along with the entrance and exit of Qatar Street connecting to the Fifth Ring Road.

This closure is necessary to carry out essential road maintenance work. The closure will begin on the evening of Wednesday, June 25, 2025, and will continue until the early hours of Monday, June 30, 2025. Motorists are advised to use alternative routes and strictly follow traffic instructions to ensure safety and minimize disruption.
