KUWAIT CITY, Aug 11: The final account approval for the General Authority for Roads and Land Transport for fiscal 2023-2024 reveals significant financial challenges, with losses amounting to 1.605 million dinars. According to Decree Law No. 52 of 2024, the Authority’s revenues totaled 5.028 million dinars and the expenditures reached 1.610 million dinars, leading to a substantial deficit. These losses are to be carried forward as part of the Authority’s capital funded by the state’s general budget. In a related development, the Ministry of Works reported a notable financial performance for the same fiscal year. The Ministry achieved revenues of 27.834 million dinars, marking a 132% increase over the estimated revenue of 11.946 million dinars
