Fine art of humanity: Al-Obaidli

DOHA, Jan 30, (KUNA): A painting for His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al- Sabah topped the Qatari artist Reem Al- Obaidli’s exhibition (Glory of Qatar) in Doha. “ I made sure to draw a scene for the “Humanitarian Leader” after putting the details of it in my mind”, Al- Obaidli said.

The painting, which she considers one of her most important artistic works, presents the fine art of humanity which cannot be forgotten, she added. This work of art can be considered as an artistic documentation for His Highness’ initiative to re-unite the Gulf countries, she noted.

The title “Humanitarian Leader” came because of His Highness the Amir’s wisdom, political will, and his balanced and good relations with all countries, the artist explained. Al-Obaidli, who is holding her second private exhibition in the Qatari capital, has a bachelors degree in Education and holds a master’s degree in administration, in addition to her releases in the field of fine art.
