PAHW begins distribution of ‘reserve cards’ in South Saad Al-Abdullah

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 15: The announcement from the Public Authority for Housing Welfare stated that the reserve cards for the South Saad Al-Abdullah City project’s tenth batch from District 4 are now being distributed, beginning today and continuing until the cards are depleted.

It was emphasized that priority in distribution will be given to those who were allocated before 12/31/2005.

Simultaneously, the PAHW provided details on the total number of units in the residential projects being distributed in the city of South Saad Al-Abdullah.

The count stands at 24,508 units, with 23,551 allocated for applicants until December 2006. The statistics also highlighted that there are 55 public buildings under construction, including 5 in Al-Mutlaa City, 31 in the south of Abdullah Al-Mubarak, and 16 in the east of Sabah Al-Ahmad. The Wafra expansion, on the other hand, encompasses three buildings.

In terms of infrastructure progress for housing projects, the data confirmed the completion of infrastructure for 1,184 houses in East Sabah Al-Ahmad. The first contract covered 587 houses with a contractual completion rate of 89.61% and an actual completion rate of 78.79%. The second contract included 597 homes, with a contractual completion rate of 81.57% and an actual completion rate of 62.78%.

In the Wafra Expansion Project, 53 industrial plots showed a contractual completion rate of 61.14% and an actual completion rate of 48.18%. For the South Sabah Al-Ahmad City project, the contract for the main roads and site equipment has been completed, achieving an actual completion rate of 3.44%
