KUWAIT CITY, April 20: The Ministry of Commerce recently took action against a vegetable and fruit store in the Al-Ardiya Al-Herfiyya area, uncovering a case of commercial fraud. The store was found guilty of altering the country of origin labels and tampering with the division of food commodities. Such actions directly contravene the regulations set forth by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, reports Al- Jarida daily. The Jahra and Farwaniya emergency team spearheaded this operation, and legal procedures are now underway against the perpetrators.
