KUWAIT CITY, May 21: Firefighters from the Hawally and Salmiya Central Fire Departments successfully contained a fire that broke out in an apartment building in Hawally on Wednesday evening. The teams responded promptly, worked to extinguish the blaze, and brought it under control. One individual sustained injuries in the incident and was transferred to the appropriate authorities for medical attention.
Meanwhile, ten individuals were injured in an explosion due to a gas leak at a shopping mall in Fahaheel on Wednesday afternoon. In a press statement, Kuwait Fire Force (KFF) confirmed that firefighting teams from Fahaheel and Ahmadi fire stations immediately dealt with the gas leak incident. It added all those injured were referred to the concerned entities.
