Officers Suspended and Detained in Jahra Over Discrimination Incident

KUWAIT CITY, May 25: The First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior, and Minister of Defense, Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef, has ordered the detention of several officers and individuals at a police station in Jahra. This decision was made within the framework of applying the law impartially and without discrimination.

According to the sources, the Ministry’s Oversight and Inspection Department received information about detainees involved in a quarrel at the police station. It was reported that one of the parties involved was kept outside the prison, indicating potential discriminatory treatment. Consequently, orders were issued to suspend and detain the responsible officers and individuals and to conduct an investigation into the incident.
