Now, Update your Address for Civil ID through Sahel App

KUWAIT CITY, May 11: The Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) has announced the launch of a new service on the unified government application – Sahel, which allows expats to change their address. This service is part of the ongoing efforts of the authority to develop its digital services and streamline procedures, contributing to enhanced operational efficiency. In another development, the authority announced the deletion of the residential addresses of 478 individuals from its records based on the homeowners’ approval or due to the demolition of the buildings. In its announcement published in the Official Gazette (Kuwait Al- Youm), the authority stressed the need for these individuals to register their new address and submit the required documents within 30 days to avoid the penalty stipulated in Article 33 of Law No. 2/1982 -- a fine of KD100 multiplied by the number of persons.
