No work permits for above 60 foreign athletes, professional players or technical staff

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 24: The Public Authority for Manpower denied exempting foreign athletes, whether professional players or technical staff, who are over 60 years old and who do not have a post-secondary qualification, from the fees mentioned in Administrative Decision No. 156/2022 for granting work permits, reports Al- Qabas daily.

The authority confirmed that canceling the academic qualification requirement for professional players and coaches is subject to approval of the training license by the Public Authority for Sports and confirming its validity and then addressing the Public Authority for Manpower to obtain their work permits.
