No radioactive contamination detected in the Gulf, says Saudi authority
No radioactive leaks detected in the Kingdom or the Gulf, says Saudi Arabia’s Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority.

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia, June 22: Saudi Arabia’s Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority (NRRA) announced Sunday that no radioactive effects have been detected on the environment in the Kingdom or neighboring Gulf states, following recent U.S. military strikes on nuclear facilities in Iran.

In a statement published on its official Twitter account, the NRRA assured the public that the environmental conditions across Saudi Arabia remain safe and unaffected by any radioactive leaks.

The authority emphasized that ongoing monitoring efforts continue to ensure the safety and well-being of the population and the environment in the Kingdom and the wider Gulf region.
