KUWAIT CITY, Oct 13: Sahou Al-Sahou, head of the newly formed transitional committee of Al-Jahra Club, affirmed his commitment to maintaining neutrality and fairness for all members, without exceptions. He emphasized that no member of the club’s general assembly would be excluded based on their views or affiliations.

Al-Sahou expressed a vision for making club membership registration available online, ensuring equal access and eliminating concerns over potential exclusion. He emphasized that every individual should have an equal opportunity to participate.

The general assembly of Al-Jahra Club convened yesterday at the club’s headquarters under heightened security, with officers from the Ministry of Interior present. During the meeting, the assembly elected a transitional committee led by Sahou Fayhan Al-Sahou. The committee also includes Mansour Mohsen Al-Khalidi, Fahd Kuhailan Al-Ajmi, Ahmed Atiq Al-Thaidi, and Badr Hajjaj Al-Alaati.

This committee was proposed by Khaled Al-Jarallah, Khalaf Al-Sahou, Khaled Al-Sarbal, Tariq Al-Shammari, and Saud Al-Hajraf.

Al-Sahou explained that he accepted this role to support the club’s players, technical and administrative staff, and employees. The committee's mandate is for 90 days, after which they will seek formal approvals from the Kuwait Olympic Committee and the Public Authority for Sports to expedite procedures. Following the regulations, the club will proceed to elections to appoint a new council. Al-Sahou highlighted that the general assembly holds ultimate decision-making power, and he remains open to cooperation with all members, acknowledging that differences of opinion should not overshadow the unity and camaraderie within the club. He also expressed gratitude to the general assembly for entrusting him and the other committee members with this responsibility.
