KUWAIT CITY, Jan 24: The Ministry of Interior yesterday released more than 150 Bangladeshi workers who protested in front of their embassy for not receiving their salaries after it was proved they had no connection with the riot, reports Al-Rai daily.

According to a knowledgeable source, the release came after the Interior Ministry checked the CCTV footage and discovered the released persons were not involved in the incident.

The source said their role was limited to organizing a protest because they were deprived of their monthly salary by their contracting company. The daily mentioned earlier 31 other Bangladeshis out of the 208 were released the day before yesterday.
