Night Raids and Patrols Lead to Major Arrests Across Kuwait

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 26: As part of the efforts of the Rescue Patrols General Directorate, security forces arrested 13 individuals suspected of possessing narcotics over the past seven days. They also arrested 125 people wanted for criminal cases, evading arrest and absconding, and 62 with expired residency permits. The weekly statistics of the rescue police patrols revealed the issuance of 4,431 citations for various traffic violations, impoundment of 24 wanted vehicles, settlement of five fights, and handling 121 traffic accidents.

A security source confirmed the continuation of these campaigns in all governorates to maintain security, arrest wanted persons and outlaws, especially during the late hours of the night. In continuation of the security forces’ efforts to arrest outlaws, security forces assigned in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh also arrested two Asians for the possession of small bags containing narcotics. According to a security source, the security forces were patrolling Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh when they noticed the suspicious movements of two Asians. Upon investigating, they found small bags containing substances suspected to be narcotics in their possession. They were referred to the competent authority for the necessary action.
