NIA raid underway in Indian states in terror network case

NEW DELHI, Dec 18, (Agencies): In a massive crackdown on terror networks the National Investigation Agency (NIA) raided several locations across 4 states and raids are still underway in several locations across four states — Karnataka, Jharkhand, Maharashtra and Delhi.

The NIA Monday conducted raids in Delhi and three other states. The anti-terror agency raids are underway in several locations across four states — Karnataka, Jharkhand, Maharashtra and Delhi. Meanwhile, NIA is conducting raids at 11 locations in Karnataka.

On Saturday the NIA had arrested 15 operatives of the banned terror outfit during multiple raids across Maharashtra and Karnataka.

NIA teams, with the support of Maharashtra Police and Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS), swooped down on as many as 44 locations in Padgha-Borivali, Thane, Mira Road and Pune in Maharashtra, and Bengaluru in Karnataka early this morning.
