KUWAIT CITY, April 29: The Criminal Court fined the Editor-in-Chief of Al-Seyassah newspaper, 50,000 dinars for contempt of the Ja’afari sect and insulting religious symbols and references, reports Al-Rai daily. Two attorneys Jalil Al-Tabbakh and Ibrahim Al-Bahrani had filed lawsuits accusing of despising a group of Kuwaiti society (who follow the Shiite sect) publicly on Twitter and by publishing images that contain contempt for a sect of society.
