New evening school for juvenile delinquents opens in Kuwait
The new evening school for juvenile delinquents has started operations in cooperation with the Ministry of Education.

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 18: The Ministry of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Affairs, through its Social Care Sector and the Juvenile Care Department, announced the launch of a new evening school for juvenile delinquents in partnership with the Ministry of Education. The new school will begin operations with the start of the new academic year.

According to a press statement from the Ministry of Social Affairs, the opening of the Juvenile Complex building underscores Kuwait’s commitment to providing education to all societal segments. The establishment of this school aims to enhance community collaboration between government agencies to support and educate juvenile delinquents residing in shelters.

The newly opened school will offer an integrated educational environment, catering to 29 male and female students from various educational stages. It is designed to meet high-quality standards and provide a conducive learning atmosphere under the guidance of specialized national staff. This includes technical, supervisory, and educational personnel, ensuring a robust educational setting.

These initiatives are part of the Juvenile Care Department's strategy to elevate the quality of care for juveniles, assist in their behavioral modification, and facilitate their positive reintegration into society.
